About this pair
Solar Drive is the warm cut of the same scene: an amber sun, a burnt-orange sky and a gold grid. Where Neon Drive is cold and electric, this one is closer to a desert highway at the end of the day.
Both halves of the frame are busy, so this is a wallpaper for a Lock Screen or for a Home Screen page you keep almost empty. With a full icon grid on top, the grid lines and the icon rows fight each other.
A practical warning: this is the brightest wallpaper in the collection by average pixel value. On an OLED screen at full brightness it will use noticeably more battery than any of the dark pairs. Worth knowing before you set it as your all-day wallpaper.
Works well with
- Lock Screen
- One decorative Home Screen page
- Warm icon tints
Setting it up
- Download both files above.
- Fold the phone closed, then Settings → Wallpaper → Add New Wallpaper → Photos and choose the cover file.
- Unfold and repeat with the inner file.
If it ends up cropped or zoomed, this is usually why.
