About this pair

Rose Marble takes the same warped-noise construction into pink and plum. It is darker overall than it looks in a thumbnail — the pale veins catch the eye but most of the frame is deep plum, which is what keeps white system text readable.

This is the pink wallpaper that does not wash out your Lock Screen. Most pink wallpapers are light enough to swallow white text; this one keeps the brightness in the veins and leaves the field dark.

If you want a matching widget, take a mid-tone from the veining rather than the brightest highlight — around #8E3C5C — and set the text to near-white. A widget using the highlight colour disappears into the bright areas.

Setting it up

1. Download both files above.
2. Fold the phone closed, then Settings → Wallpaper → Add New Wallpaper → Photos and choose the cover file.
3. Unfold and repeat with the inner file.
