About this pair
Most light wallpapers fail on a phone for one reason: they are so bright that white system text disappears and black text looks harsh. Arctic Fade keeps a blue‑grey floor at the bottom and the corners so that the Dock, the page dots and the Lock Screen's smaller text all have something to sit against, while the centre stays genuinely light.
On the inner screen the darker floor is extended slightly, because a larger panel at the same brightness throws more light and the edges need more weight to hold the frame. It is a small difference you would never notice as a difference — only as the pair feeling right.
Use it in Light Mode with dark widget text. It is also the easiest wallpaper here to put a photo widget on, since a photo of almost any colour will read as the subject rather than fighting the background.

Setting it up
- Download both files above.
- Fold the phone closed, then Settings → Wallpaper → Add New Wallpaper → Photos and choose the cover file.
- Unfold and repeat with the inner file.
