About this pair
Deep Sea is built around one soft light source placed slightly above centre, falling off into near‑black at every edge. It is the simplest wallpaper in this set and probably the most useful: a radial glow gives your icons something to sit on without introducing any lines or shapes that your app grid has to fight.
The glow is positioned higher on the cover file than you might expect. That is intentional — on a 5.4‑inch screen the Home Screen icons start higher up the display, so the bright area needs to rise with them. On the inner file the same glow sits closer to true centre, where the larger grid balances it.
If you only download one pair to test how matched wallpapers feel on a folding phone, make it this one. The effect of unfolding and seeing the light source stay in the same visual place is the clearest demonstration of why a pair beats a single stretched image.
Works well with
- Busy Home Screens that need a calm backdrop
- Dark Mode
- Any icon colour
Setting it up
- Download both files above.
- Fold the phone closed, then Settings → Wallpaper → Add New Wallpaper → Photos and choose the cover file.
- Unfold and repeat with the inner file.
If it ends up cropped or zoomed, this is usually why.
